Why are you in school ?

Why am I in school? For the past thirteen years I have been constantly asked this question by my parents, teachers and schoolmates sometimes in jest but oftentimes seriously. Personally, I believe that I had no choice in the matter since at an early age I was stuffed into school clothes and shuttled off to school without being asked if I wanted to go or not. However, as time went by, I learned to love it. These are a few reasons why I think that school is important.

1. Schooling fills our mind with knowledge. I go to school because I want to learn and though I agree that there are some subjects which I deem useless, there are those which are vital to my existence.

2. Schooling teaches us about human interaction and relationships. Forming meaningful human relationships is an important part of human life. First, we gain playmates, friends then we progress to special relationships like boyfriend-girlfriend. Most of these relationships are started and nurtured in the school. Actually, as I see it, one can learn at home if he is provided the proper material but one thing he cannot learn is social skills.

3. Schooling gives us confidence and belief in ourselves. It empowers us and gives us a sense of accomplishment. Knowledge is power.

4. Schooling improves our communication skills. This is particularly true for me because I am a Korean. I came to the Philippines to improve my English skills and I am happy to say that that goal is being accomplished. By immersing myself in this school and culture, I can feel that my English skills are improving.

5. Schooling prepares us for the future. Beyond the confines of La Salle is a big world waiting to be discovered. The teachers teach us lessons which we can use in the future. Our diplomas are our tickets to good jobs.

Our parents know that a proper education is one thing that they can/must give us because it is the only thing which can’t be stolen or lost. Furthermore, it will equip us with the tools necessary for survival in this crazy world. With all these reasons in mind, I believe it would be crazy if I didn’t go to school.

Jornal 2) Reaction on the book "The Gift"

There are two parts of the story. One is about mary, and another is about Tom.First, mary's family was made up of a wild father like a tyrant and her mother who was horrified of her husband. She was like a house keeper and her younger sister. One night, mary had a party then she met a really awesome guy like a hero in her school. That night they made love with each other. At that time she believed his words that "i really love you, you are the best thing in my life." then she got pregnant. But after he knew that he never mind her from his sight. Later he said, "just take it out , I can't get married with you." So she was disappointed in him. Then her family noticed she got pregnant. Afterward her father told her," go out and then get rid of the baby. Until you get rid of that, you cannnot enter into my house." So first she went to convent, while she was there she saw so terrifying things, so she decided to leave. As a result she arrived at another city. Second, there was tommy's part. Tommy's family was made up of father, mother and little girl, Annie. To them Annie was the gift and angel . But after a few years she died. After she died, his family was almost separated to each other. They didn't eat together, talk with each other, his parents were always fighting, just like that. So Tommy always ate dinner in the restaurant where they could meet each other, Mary and Tommy. Cause Mary got a job in that restaurant. Although they met each other just one time, they could feel something odd. After a few days they became close friends. But mary hid her secret, that she got pregnant with other guy's baby. But when they went to the lake, he noticed that, her valley. So she told him all the facts. Nevertheless she got pregnant early, he tried to understand her, cause they already believed in, loved each other deeply. In the meantime, Tommy 's mother heard about Mary & Tommy's relationship from her associate. Thereafter Tommy decided to introduce Mary to his parents as a good friend. First when they met Mary, they thought she was a bitch because she got pregnant already. But after a few times his mother liked her more and more.Mary was really sincere, kind, pretty and smart enough. They became closer with each other, more and more, day by day. Though Mary and Tom were young that time to love someone deeply. They loved each other sincerely , deeply.To every person, there is something special gift to them. That may be a person or talent or thing or love. In this story first annie was the gift to her family. But after she had hone Mary & Kate(Mary's baby) were being gifts to them. As a lovely girls, they gave Tommy's family that love, happiness, and life. Also to Mary, though before she experienced really bad thing and had hard time, by tommy, she lived, had fortune life with his family a few months.Through him, she had a opportunity to had education and dream as a girl. I believe, also to me, there is a special gift.By the way, even though now my condition is too bad, happiness will come soon to me, like as Mary & tommy's case. Good luck to me ~

There are two main characters in this music video. First , the guy who looks handsome, smart and neat. Actually in this music video his character is that of a casanova.Second, the girl who doesn't have parents but she has a sick younger sister. So she picks pockets to earn money for their livelihood.One day, the guy saw her after the girl changed her clothes to plain clothes.At that time , he fell in love with her. After that day, he found her when she picked an old guy's pocket then the old guy tried to chase after her. So he crashed into him on purpose to help her.Thereafter he approached her with icecream.From that time on, they became closer day by day. they had fun with each other while they were on a date and they met always. She also fell in love with him.But the more they became closer to each other, the more her stealing became rampant.In the end she was chased by a policeman. While she was being chased by the policeman he observed that. So to rescue her from them he put on a cap and jacket which looked the same as hers to pretend he was her. Then he surrendered himself to the police so that they wouldn't apprehend her.

2. Mr.flower (Korean)

This is a sad love story. The main character is the subordinate under a boss who is the strongest in Japan gang's group direct control. When he was young his father was killed by the gang while he was watching. However, the Boss rescued him from the gangsters. After that the boss supported and raised him up. That's the reason for him to serve his boss as the father. One day as usual, he was watching over his boss. After his boss finished the drug contract with another gangster his boss introduced him to his lover then told him to protect her constantly. She was a beautiful girl. Little by little he and she fell in love with each other. Before he kissed her they were confused but after he kissed her ,finally she realized that she liked him too. Even though they knew that it's wrong however they couldn't stop loving each other. Later his boss found out about their secret affair. At that time the main guy was about to give an engagement ring to the girl. Suddenly, his boss called him. He said that there was a serious situation and he had to come now. He was torn between the girl and the boss. He chose to follow his boss first however he didn't know that the situation was merely a setup. When he entered the car where his boss was in, he was stabbed and left to die. His boss then took his girl and they flew away in a helicopter while the poor man was left watching and screaming for her to come back.

3.Because I'm a girl.(English)

The video tells the story of a young girl who met a photographer by chance. It was love at first sight for both of them. Later, they met again and after some time they fell in love. They spent a lot of time together and theirs was an ideal romance. However, an accident left the girl blind,their future in question. Without her knowledge, her boyfriend donated his eyes so that she could regain her vision. After the surgery, the girl remained sad even though she could see again because she thought that her boyfriend had left her while she was in the hospital. It never occurred to her that it was her boyfriend who had sacrificed his eyesight so that she could see again. One day while she was walking, she came upon a man with a seeing eye dog. He was holding a picture in his hand which was blown away by the wind. When she picked it up she noticed that it was her face that was in the picture. Suddenly, she realize that it was her boyfriend. She realized what he had done for her.

Journal 1) What makes me happy

Happiness is too important to everybody.
I think, happiness does not come to see us, but it is to be made by ourselves. I try to be happy with my dear God, family, Friends and my dream.
To me, knowing God, and believing in God, and loving God ,all those make me happy.
Just the being of God is happiness and love. whenever we need a shelter he becomes our shelter, he gives us whatever we need. Praise the Lord!
Next thing is my family. My family is myself. My other name is my family name. Because of them. I can endure, live, love and do everything. although everyone betrays me, they won't . I love them so much. previously I didn't know how big is their love. But during the time I lived here, I can feel it acutely.
Next, my friends. Our friendship will be forever, I believe!
Whereas boyfriend's love, our love is valuable than the boy's.
Boy's love changes easily when even we have a small problem.
After that we cannot recovery our love simply but friendship is different. After having a problem then we might fight each other. But by contrast our friendship will be more stronger. They make me always smiling and missing.
Next, My dream. Whenever I have a slump with my study, I think about my goal, destination. It is such a my goal's source. My dream is changed lately. That's the secret!
And the last one, the music. Without music, I can't live. not only classical music but also rock, popsongs, hymn. All of music is my happiness.
And handsome guys also make me happy.
They cleanse my eyes hahaha. I need them right now! let's go to America!
